Summer rainstorms where it’s still warm out and the sun looks scary but pretty at the same time are one of my favorite east coast things.

A favourite childhood memory was sitting on our back verandah watching the afternoon storms roll in after a scorchingly hot summer's day, finally gifting us a reprieve from the relentless heat. So nostalgic.
