Requests from Abby Phoenix

Can anyone recommend their excellent tax accountant / CPA *in Los Angeles*?? We have had complicated-ish taxes for the last five years. They’re about to get somewhat less complicated and I don’t love our current CPA, so I thought this might be a good time to investigate changing it up. Our current CPA is in San Francisco and we mostly communicate via email, so going forward, I would love to go into someone’s office with all our paperwork and online logins and just get it all done in one fell swoop. Extra points if they do any financial advising too!

Requesting: cool ways to wear a silk scarf! After admiring them for ages, I just bought my first silk scarf today. I have figured out one (v. basic) way I like it in my hair, which I’ll put as a reply here, but I’m sure there’s a whole world of Silk Scarves Style that I know little of! Please educate me, I would love to level up before autumn arrives.

I’m about to go into one of the most stressful weeks of my year. Please share something that makes you BIG LAUGH. Honestly, it can be anything! I’m hoping for lots of responses that I can mete out as needed over the week. Thanks in advance!

Veggie-forward Snacks, please! I’m traveling back home tomorrow after three weeks of vacation, and while I’ve loved all the pastries and ice cream… I am craving a return to vegetables in my regular diet. Please share with me all your favorite ways of snacking on veggies! Emphasis on: easy & delicious.

I just visited the Danish Design Museum and now want to replace ALL of our furniture with things of beauty. I realize this is a little aspirational, but please show me gorgeous dining chairs and tables that I can invest in one day!
