leaving spotify
it's not as hard as you think it is!!! i switched to qobuz and pay essentially the same on a family plan with friends who also switched. the ui is a little clunkier but i'm not having AI shoved down my throat. musicians will be paid slightly more per stream. the other companies didn't run ICE recruitment ads.
qobuz will cover your use of soundiiz to transfer playlists or you can pay soundiiz $5 and port all your playlists over to wherever you go.

“A far less evil music streaming option with a sleek and stylish interface. PLUS, it sounds great! I've been trying it out for a month or so, and I don't miss Apple Music or Spotify. I've also discovered a lot of new-to-me music through their Discover page (way better and more interesting recs than Spotify or Apple). One thing to note is that they don't host podcasts.”
