Appian Way

I rented a bike and rode the Appian Way - one of, if not the oldest, highways in the world. This is the old Roman sea road that helped them build the empire, for better or worse. It’s a historical marvel.

You’ll pass miles of impressive, hilarious, and ostentatious gravestones and tombs 2,000 years old.
