A Poet

This is a beautifully destructive and poetic (literally) film that was Columbia’s 2026 international submission for the Academy Awards. Raises some interesting questions around talent and nurturing it at the behest of the talented individual. What happens when someone who is a gifted writer wants to do anything but write? Does the artist owe their artistry to the world?
