This book has been one of the most meaningful books I have ever read. I think of it often and I think I need to read it again.

It really does stay with you! I love her exploration of empathy and inclusion. And normally I find ambiguity in books frustrating, but here it feels more like an invitation for discussion.

“This is an instance of a book blowing up on social media that (imo) actually deserves the hype. Very few good things happen in this book and it should be absolutely miserable, but to me it read as a testament to the human will to survive and make meaning”
