I just came across a few of Mary Cassatt’s prints as part of an exhibition in the Foundation Pierre Giannada in Martignique Switzerland - and they’re stunning. Some of her paintings are a bit too saccharine for me, but the prints have a simplicity and stillness to them I really enjoy.

I recently did a bunch of research about Cassatt for a college Art History paper and she actually said that she always imagined herself as the child in her works but for “The Letter” she imagined herself as the letter in which the women licked the sticky gross envelope for, another for of sacrifice and gentle care, thought it was fascinating.
