The Ministry for the Future

Nitabel

“Near-future cli-fi masterpiece and a book I wish every policymaker would read, as well as anyone having trouble imagining a future where we come together as a species and deal with what we’ve done to our planet. Urgent, intelligent, poignant, sweeping, intimate antidote to apocalypse mindset.”

Nathaniel

“This one starts out pretty intense, but it's worth pushing through for an honest and hopeful story of how things could go over the course of this century.”

Maya Bernstein-Schalet

“a couple decades from now, earth has reached its breaking point and an international ministry is formed to consider all we can save, and how. part cli-fi, part speculative fiction. told through a rotating cast of nuanced characters all over the world. i found that this simultaneously taught me about tangible ways we can get out of this mess and what is coming for us in the not so distant future.”
