In need of good scripted tv to dive into. I’m an actor, husband is a writer, so it’s gotta be quality. We’ve watched the big, obvious ones. Not hot on franchises, procedurals, standard network fare. What are your snobby, smarty, oddball favorites? International is fine, we’ll spring for an obscure streamer if it’s worth it.

A funny, quirky Australian show with great writing. You will root for and love Fisk. Her life is in total shambles but the show is lighthearted and fun.

“Dry humor. Australian. Aaron Chen is my favorite.”

“This show is crisp and tart, showcasing a strong (but vulnerable) middle aged Australian lawyer. The entire cast is wonderful, the show is not too serious (while not too dumb), and filled with the clever call backs and inside jokes. Highly recommend.”
