All the Pretty Horses

“Blood Meridian is (rightfully) beloved. But the Border Trilogy, kicked off by All the Pretty Horses, is Cormac McCarthy’s crowning achievement, imo.”

“I was surprised by how much I liked this book. It's not as almost gratuitously violent as some of his other works (Blood Meridian, etc.), and the prose is beautiful at times. It's also a pretty short book; would reccomend.”
