Chicken With Figs

My mom makes this every year for Rosh Hashanah and now I do too. It's a beautiful and quite simple holiday (or regular day) meal that is warm, sweet, and still a little savory. It's very comforting in colder weather. I think the recipe may be paywalled by NYTimes, but if you can't access it all you need to know is that it's roast chicken with figs and a bunch of orange slices.
