Salted Fudge Brownies

Current dogma dictates that box brownies are just as good as homemade, and while I, too, am seduced by the siren song of ease, these scratch-made brownies are only a little more trouble to make and completely worth it. (I have made all the mixes and none come anywhere close.) I like them ice-box cold with a glass of milk.
