Chacos Mega Z/1 Wide-Strap Sandal (Limited Edition)

I learned about these from Christene Barberich, who I trust entirely. She wrote about the leopard print, but I went for the python. I got these for New York City because I want comfortable sandals with a thick sole to keep my feet as far from the sidewalks as possible. Bonus points for any sandals that are washable. I may also take them on hikes and trips for swimming in rocky waters.
