Famous Men by Julie Buntin

I was completely engrossed in the narrator and her point of view, her problems feeling very singular and universal all at once. It also did an excellent job of treading its serious subject matter with the moral complexity it deserved, while still having moments of fun and sincere humor.

“About a professor-student relationship in an MFA program. This book stands out to me for its focus on the collective, not just the abuser, in cases of sexual misconduct, and the inconvenient truth that these things aren’t always so simple”

“Weird, literary book. Sucker for Mfa fiction.”
