Korin Knives, Tribeca NY
Recommended by allegra
Korin makes my favorite chef's knives. If you're in NYC make a trip to their store and spend some time talking to their super thoughtful and educated staff on what is the best knife fit for you. They also sharpen knives whenever what you have at home is looking a little dull.

“If you are in the market for high end knives and happen to be in NYC, go to Korin. They have an excellent selection and it is just a fun experience.”
