I think we can all agree that this is the best of the Before films (although I like all three) — it's hard to beat the youthful romanticism that pours out of Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke's every line. Also, great hair inspiration.

I am in the definite minority that feels midnight > sunset > sunrise. I am more of a what 'is' and what 'should have been' person vs what 'could be'. But all three amazing goated trilogy, most underrated director maybe ever.

BEFORE SUNSET is the apex but my hot take is that BEFORE MIDNIGHT is not at all depressing and actually insanely funny. The argument about who packs for kids on vacay is every marriage.
