“This was a movie in art school that changed me and felt like I was looking into a crystal ball of my future 😂”

Christiane

“two fabulous, staunch, codependent, narcissistic women talk over each other the whole time in a dilapidated mansion in the Hamptons. The Maysles observe these two with such a keen eye. Great editing and many shots of cute kitties.”

Allie Sutterer

“Iconic. Summer vibes. Kooky gals. Great style. Horrific living conditions. Raccoons. Mother daughter dynamics. What more could you ask for? Big Edie and Little Edie were the aunt and cousin of Jackie O. This movie captures simple moments of their life in their dilapidated East Hamptons house in 1975. Supposedly the style of the film paved the way for modern reality tv.”
