Swimming in the Bay

Open water swimming in the SF bay is amazing. I was converted this summer while training for the Trans Tahoe relay and now I’m hooked. Swam all summer without a wetsuit. Aquaphile runs a great boat assisted, buoy course at low and high tides out of the Berkeley Marina and offers Alcatraz swims and instruction. So welcoming and easy for beginners. Fantastic all around!
