Psychological, queer, and yearning grief.
Urbania never allows the line between reality, twisted desires, and narration to show. This films first few minutes makes you question if you want to keep watching but trust me you do. Although at times I wasn’t sure what was happening I think that’s what the point of the film is. It’s told from the main characters perspective As he moves through this night he lives it like no other night he has before. He explores his feelings of resentment, remorse, anger, guilt and reminiscence. As he disassociates from his reality it leads him to lose control and his unstable state of mind leads him to seek out strangers in ways he otherwise wouldn’t.
