Dash & Lily

One of the best details of Lena Dunham's Famesick is that at one point she was meant to produce a film adaptation of Dash & Lily, the stunning novel about two kids stuck alone in NYC during Christmas break who connect over a scavenger hunt centered around a red notebook and The Strand. While I know that Dunham's version would have killed, the mini-series that Netflix ended up creating is also pretty perfect. Austin Abrams is the perfect floppy haired lead and the whole thing is a perfect blend of giddy and angsty. Shoutout to the Nick Jonas cameo.
