It’s tangy/sweet/umami and I love all the textures of the pickled veggies, tofu, and lettuce. Plus the bread is of course great.

OMG this one is def in my top 5 veg sandwiches in LA! My only note is you gotta eat REAL fast or that bread disintegrates into nothing from the beet juice.

This is SO basic but unfortunately I think my fav is the bahn mi from Mendo. Have you tried the Ira Glass at Wax Paper? OH the chickpea sandwich from Belle's is also incredible!
