hard yes to this. I do it all the time. my chronically OFFLINE husband thinks I'm a genius for this trick.
see someone wearing something cute? see a piece of furniture at a restaurant that you must have? non-creepily snap a discrete photo and upload it to google reverse image search to instantly find it or a look-a-like. this has almost never failed me in finding a great dress, a perfect chair, etc.
