Spoiler Alert: Track titles use quotes from the film. If you haven't seen YCSE and want to go in as fresh as possible, avoid the soundtrack to spare yourself potential spoilers/hints as to what's coming.
The two recurring thoughts I had while witnessing You Can See Everything: 1.) What do I even make of this? and 2.) Who did the soundtrack for this? It's brilliant. I'll be right alongside the rest of you in working through 1 for some time to come, but as for 2, it's Ari Balouzian, who also did the score for Primetime. I found the music in the documentary to be as crucial as the repeated use of close-ups to make this film the unique, unnerving experience that it is. Balouzian's soundtrack is currently proving a fantastic listening experience on its own, and if you're looking for something to background your post-watch processing/debrief with, why not this? The closing track is one of the most hauntingly beautiful/beautifully haunting things I've heard in a while.
