im in the market for a pair of short heeled black books (not a Chelsea boot tho) i can slip on, wear with anything, and are comfy to walk in. think Prada monolith but nowhere near $1300.

I'd try Camper! Can be hit or miss but I have a pair of black ankle boots I bought years ago that are as comfy as sneakers. Like can hit 10k steps in them easily.
