Consider Before Consuming - podcast

This one is a little more intense, but so eye opening. This comes from a non legislative secular nonprofit. After working in survivor services for many years and being adjacent to primary prevention work to prevent inimate partner violence with youth education, it’s jarring and SO essential to examine how an internet full of free, intense, very explicit content impacts our minds, and especially— young minds. & it’s no one’s fault! I didn’t engage with this discourse for some time out of wanting to be sex positive as well as it’s deeply uncomfortable, but I’m realizing the more we learn about our current culture the more it’s genuinely like 🌽ography really acts and shapes the brain like a very high powered drug, and its ripe for exploitation and impacts so many people across every sector.

Force of Nature - every surface cleaning product

It sounds too good to be true, but this product genuinely cleans as well as Lysol, bleach, etc. scientifically proven better for the planet and extremely better for your health. It’s what we used at the Montessori preschool that I taught at, but I never connected the dots until I was researching a cleaning product. GET THIS – THE ONLY BYPRODUCT IS SALT WATER. It’s just genuinely changed how we clean at home and we never have a second thought of what we’re exposing ourselves to.

Literally so classic. I just sling my hair up in a messy bun or braid or equivalent and it’s a whole vibe. I found mine on a trip to the Northwoods Wisconsin at the “Namekagon General Store”, a family owned leather works, but I’m sure makers sell online!
