This is a move I saw my Mom pull many times when I was a kid. She’d show up to a party with a Crave Case (to applause, usually), take the sliders and cut them into fourths, stick toothpicks in them, and walk them around on a platter like she was a fancy waitress. It kills every time. Say thank you to Sharon O’Malley Farrell for this one. 💖

Ocean’s Eleven (2001)

I'm gonna get out of the car and I'm gonna drop you like third-period French. My favorite movie of all time. So simply plotted, so tightly paced, so perfect to watch when I get nervous on airplanes. Does he make you laugh? He doesn’t make me cry!!! A bevy of banger performances (Carl Reiner! Bernie Mac! Andy Garcia aura farming!) and the worst accent ever committed to film. The reason I stay vigilant at the Harold Washington brown line stop so Matt Damon doesn’t pickpocket me. I would like to be buried holding a copy of this movie.
