Rear Window
Grace Kelly circa 1954 by Edith Head. Cause when was the last time you tried to solve a murder with your non committal boyfriend in a silk halter, pearls and patent heels?
Black Christmas (1974)
Somehow whatever happened to Olivia Hussey in Romeo and Juliet was still freakier
The Lady Eve
Barbara Stanwyck circa 1941 by again, Edith Head. Barb plays a set of identical twins - an uppity socialite with a phoney British accent and a scammer who hangs out on cruises. Henry Fonda falls for both and gives them (well kinda) all his nepo beer money - which fair enough.
Network
Faye Dunaway in Network (circa 1976) by Theoni V. Aldridge. Faye right before they crucified her for giving us the camp we all deserve in a Joan Crawford biopic. She played a girl boss so obsessed with ratings she accidentally invented rage baiting during late night television. She also knew how to detach from her daddy issues and colour coordinate for the office.
