Wear a camping scarf

Over a decade ago I started wearing a small cotton kerchief every time I went camping. It’s the best! Add some color to your dirty camp outfit, keep your neck covered for sun/bugs, feel a little cute, use it to signal to yourself that you’re camping and all is well! I usually wear an old ripped Block Shop scarf, but any cotton kerchief will do!

Slow Cooker Chipotle-Honey Chicken Tacos

The easiest! Start it at lunch in the crockpot and then 15 minutes of prep at dinner. I serve with a simple cabbage slaw, or sometimes just chips and guac.

A photo album of the photos your child took

Since she was 3.5 years old, I’ve given my daughter disposable cameras or a loaded toy film camera for day trips and big trips. Once she fills the roll, we drop it off locally to get developed, and then print the photos for free in the Shutterfly app. Once they arrive, we tuck them into a photo album together and I write notes about the photos (dictated by her). Now we have this big book of photos and memories from her point of view. 🥹
