La Choza
The Choza Burn is my favorite margarita - just the right amount of spicy. Oh and also the posole a la Mexicana - topped with avocado, onions, tomato, jalapeño, cilantro, purple cabbage & fresh lime. Yum.
First Light Books: Austin, TX
This is my new(ish) favorite bookstore in town. Housed in the old neighborhood post office of Hyde Park, First Light offers a curated selection of really enticing books, a delightful children’s section, and irresistible stationery. I especially love that they always have some great event going on - something like an author reading from their latest book or a fun spelling bee for adults. No t-shirts, I’m afraid. They do sell this tote, though and I for one would love for it join my collection of way too many cute totes.
The Pantry
Hands down my favorite breakfast in Santa Fe, NM. The buenos dias plate is my favorite - breakfast potatoes, eggs, cheese and green chile and it’s available all day.
