bespoke handprint pendant
I've never seen handprint jewelry that is actually made from a clay cast of your baby's or child's hand. Most jewelry is just a flat 2D traced outline, or a fingerprint (which is weird, I don't want someone having my baby's fingerprints!!). Full disclosure: this is my small business, and we've been making these for other Brooklyn moms for a few months now. We take your baby's handprint in clay, 3D scan it, then merge the scan with our trademark Common Era Wax Seal design. We also add their name or any other engraving you'd like on the back.

i was born and raised in sydney, though i moved to NYC as an adult, and i feel a nostalgic longing for all the things i used to cringe at. that includes old timey australiana, which the aussie brand Halcyon Nights does impeccably.
the shrine 3 diamond pendant by common era
this was inspired by an ancient lararium I saw on my visit to pompeii many years ago. a lararium is a household shrine that appeared in almost all roman homes, and they would place tiny statues of their household gods there as an altar. i added the three diamonds as an homage to those tiny gods, and they're set as though buried in the ruins of the temple.
