I'm late to the game on this EP, but I love how this album includes stream-of-consciousness tracks that show the beauty of everyday life. It's a good reminder that you can make art with whatever is in front of you, on whatever day.

"White Horse" by Erika T. Wurth

I like that the book is more plot driven than what I remember of "Crazy Horse's Girlfriend," and includes very vivid scenes, including but not limited to mini-golfing in a cat-themed park. I'm also learning things that I didn't know before, such as the Chickasaw legend of Lofa.

"Pressure"

I'm generally a sucker for a lot of WW2 media, but a few things stood out about this movie. I've never seen a depiction of Eisenhower in film, and really loved it. I also thought that the screenwriting was so effective - this is a capsule film that basically takes place over 48 hours and centers on a weather forecast, which doesn't seem very dramatic, but it is, and has everything to do with global history.

"Armand"

I imagine this movie was a bit controversial when it came out, but I adored the premise. The ending was also tragic when one realizes that the power of an accusation is enough to ruin anyone, even a child, whether that accusation is powered by truth, or vendetta.
