Caraway Trash & Recycling Duo

If you’re allowed to be in love with a trash bin, this is the one! I am truly obsessed with this trash system. At our last apartment, we had the smallest bin under our sink, and a paper sack hanging on the exterior for our recyclables. As you can imagine, it was not chic! And not efficient. When we moved, I knew we would obviously be getting an upgrade, and I spent SO long researching the best system. I also was taking into account that we’d be taking our trash down three flights of stairs every time, so I wanted something that could store a lot and limit our journeys down! This bad boy from Caraway was the answer! It has three compartments, as you can see! lol One each for trash, paper, and glass/plastic. The recycling side stores SO much (please see all the paper that fits in one bin below), and the bins are easily removable so you can clean them when needed. Also, it’s so sleek, and the green color was a true bonus. It comes in a fun range of colors so you can match it to your aesthetic—your trash aesthetic :-) It is an investment, but it’s something we use every day, and something we look at every day, so I think it’s worth it!

Cuyana Tall Easy Zipper Tote

Okay clearly I am fixated on green, because when I saw this new color from Cuyana, I knew that it had to be mine. While I really like to commit to a work bag, I realize that the bigger my bag, the more things I will put into it. Go figure! So I was looking for something a little slimmer that could still hold all my things in an organized fashion, but not weigh me down—and I am convinced it completely disrupts my body’s alignment! lol The bag itself is a very lightweight leather and can comfortably store your laptop—this week I carried two, as well as my big planner, sunglasses, wallet, keys, etc. It features one pocket, which works for me, but they also have different organizers you can snap in if you want to get crazy! It also zips at the top, which is great for travel. It’s simple, sleek, but the color makes it a statement. There is also a wide range of colors to choose from if you’re not green-obsessed like me, including the classic colors. To be fair, 99% of my bags are black, so no judgment! This bag is also a great price point for what you’re getting, and all my Cuyana things (shout out to my favorite travel cases!) have lasted many, many years, so I know this will stay in the rotation for a long time!

UNbrush Detangling Brush

The longer my hair, the more prone to tangling it becomes. And if you’ve seen my giant fro in the summer months, it needs taming, ideally without feeling like all my hair is falling out with every stroke—and this was the answer!! After years of using this brush at Hannah's salon, I finally purchased it from Amazon, and it’s just the best. It really detangles with ease (wet and dry hair), and I just can’t recommend it enough for the long-haired gals! But I assume all hair lengths would love it.

D.S. & DURGA I Don’t Know What

This is not a new find, but rather a return to a favorite! I first discovered this scent on my friend Heather. I was so in love that I immediately purchased it. (We live in different cities, so I didn’t feel like I was stealing her identity! lol) When my last bottle ran out, I didn’t immediately purchase a new one, because it felt a little frivolous when I had so many other fragrances to work through. But it’s back! And I just love it SO much. I have been exclusively wearing it since the bottle arrived—I usually mix it up! And I just get so much joy every time I spray it in the morning. It also stays on you all day, but in a way that’s not overpowering, because I can no longer smell it on myself. My husband is also a D.S. & DURGA guy! And they are really just the best best scents.
