Here Lies Love is a bold musical about the rise of the Marcos regime and the People Power Revolution in the Philippines. With music by David Byrne and Fatboy Silm, the show is packed with high energy, imaginative staging, and a very talented cast.
Los Feliz Conservatory
Interested in learning a new instrument? A new language? Watercolor? How to DJ? I recently took a class at Los Feliz Conservatory and had the best experience. While I'm not planning on becoming a DJ full-time (at least not yet),I'll cherish the intimate class size and clear instruction from Mars. There are so many classes, I feel spoiled for choice on what to try next.
Pottery at Still Life Ceramics
Like every other 20-30 something looking to try new hobbies, I tried my hand at pottery a couple of years ago and genuinely loved it. The workshops at Still Life are great for learning the fundamentals, and you get to throw as much as you want during practice hours. Love the DTLA studio!

Alexandre Desplat x Guillermo del Toro are a match made in heaven. Beautifully haunting score.
