My partner and I are in the same boat and have flip flopped on getting a dog over the years. But we do have two cats! Cats are more independent than dogs (no walks, no daycare, no potty training). To me it feels like all of the love with half of the work. Plus, I think cats especially thrive in DINK homes where their peace is more protected.

Mine is nearly 20 years old and I have NEVER had a problem with it. The only car I’ve ever owned and hopefully the only one I ever do. Mine came without any features but over the years I’ve added Bluetooth to the stereo and a dashboard screen for navigation (all surprisingly easy to do).

Cucumber with chili crisp
As much chopped cucumber as you want tossed with some chili crisp! Add dashes of ginger, soy sauce, and rice vinegar if you wish. Satisfying and easy!
