Insane as a concept but the touch of salty umami flavor adds a depth to the drink that you can't place but also can't stop drinking. A favorite party trick/secret ingredient to surprise and delight. This is a recipe for the fancy way but I am lazy and have also just added a little tiny scoop to a shaker and it's perfect.

It's just so sweet. The creator of Bluey started out as an animator on it and it shows. The collage style is beautiful and fun. Not sure why I, a woman who recently lost her stepdad, thought this book about a woman reconnecting with her stepdad as an adult would be a good casual read. It was not that. It was rich in grief and tenderness. It was gorgeous.

Cabbage

It's such a sexy vegetable with such a boring reputation (thank you unseasoned cabbage rolls and kraut). Its beautiful! Its versatile! Its cheap! It's packed with an incredible amount of fiber and nutrients, it's filling, it's low calorie if you care about stuff like that. Just this week Ive used it in slaw, stew, caramelized it with leeks, fortified a packet ramen with it so it felt healthy. It also takes forever to go bad in the fridge unlike other less resilient leafy greens. We love her.
