My Undesirable Friends, Pt 2 - Exile

I watched the first two installments of Julia Loktev's remarkable doc about young, opposition journalists in Putin's Russia on Mubi. This Friday and then the next Monday I'm going to check out the last two installments at the Laemmle Royal in West Los Angeles. These films are soooo long (think Frederick Wiseman) but I find them incredibly riveting and they are so well made.

I've only been to the Corita Art Center once but it is amazing and Corita was the coolest nun ever.

If you love Le Bon Shoppe check out ban.do where they have lots of LBS stuff and where I found an LBS snap cardigan that I didn't see on the LBS site and which satisfied my agnes b itch at a much more reasonable price point.

Find a No Kings 4 rally near you this Saturday, October 17, and make sure your friends and family get out and vote!
