Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground by The White Stripes
White Blood Cells has a handful of other great songs too, but Dead Leaves is such a banger.
Somebody Somewhere
One of my favorite shows of recent memory. Such a beautiful, raw, and emotional depiction of mundane, everyday life. Bridget Everett and Jeff Hiller have an electric chemistry that will make you laugh, cry, and feel all the feels.
Project Hail Mary (2026)
One of the first films I’ve thoroughly enjoyed in a long time. Space! Ryan Gosling in a cardigan! I laughed, I cried. Amaze amaze amaze!
Sea Change, Beck
An obvious stray from Beck’s preceding albums — ethereal, haunting instrumentals and beautifully heartbreaking lyrics.
