Ffern is a hit or miss with me, generally striking a 2/1 hit to miss on their quarterly releases. Fortunately for Rec Leage, I’ve gotten every bottle they’ve made for the last two years and can tell you with absolutely no bones about it, Autumn 2025 is the best. It’s unctuous, woody, & leads with a delicious pear scent that they invented by extracting and fermenting sugar cane. I got stopped and asked about it at the LA Rich and Successful Film Festival Spring fling.

Café Telegrama
This is my favorite cafe in Los Angeles. don’t go on the weekends. It’s a fucking nightmare. (but also don’t go when I am going). Parking here is an extreme and competitive sport.
