EB BB Sandwich from Elbow Bread
Big fan of the things they are doing at Elbow Bread. This rocked my world. All I can say is that Zoe Kanan is a genius. I had seen this sandwich all over social media but thought there was no way it could be as incredible as everyone was saying. (Spoiler: it’s as good as they were saying.) A delightful combo of crispy walnut butter, dates, and cream cheese on Elbow’s homemade brown bread, this sandwich is a textural dream. The bite of the cream cheese is perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the dates and the salty-sweet walnut butter. The innovation of this bakery is so admirable. You must try this. I can’t wait to go back.

My favorite coconut water. Affordable & delicious & amazing. I love to use this in my morning coffee to make a coconut water americano, as a refreshing addition to a smoothie, or of course just on its own!
Japanese Sweet Potato Sandwich from Gem Home
I initially didn’t know what to expect from this, since it sounds like an odd combination. But wow, every seasonal rendition of this sandwich I’ve had has been amazing. I may be *slightly* biased because of my love for Japanese sweet potatoes, but this is a unique bite you need to try. I really applaud spots that stray from your typical sandwich offerings and Gem Home is one of them. Also love that there’re always switching this one up based on the produce in season so there’s always a new version to try. I think my favorite so far had potato chips and sprouts in it with a tahini tonnato 😋 I also loveeee the grainy bread they use!
