Time and Water
“Maybe generational memory is the closest way humans can experience the depth of time” Felt this movie in my bones!!!!!! I have never seen a film depict the relationship between documentation, archiving, nature, life, death, and time like this. I feel like they went into my brain and made a film.

The Post-Individual
I really love Yancey Strickler's work (check out my posts on Metalabel and DFOS). The Post-Individual argues that the internet first gave us unprecedented freedom to construct multiple versions of ourselves, but that this very freedom is now pushing us toward a new era where identity, belonging, and power are increasingly organized around online communities and collective selves rather than the autonomous individual. He is arguing we have many selves, and now are often determining which we will present.
