Old Town Music Hall in El Segundo
I travel quite a distance to go to this El Segundo hidden gem. Itâs the most gorgeous theatre, 100% volunteer-run, and has incredible programming! I saw Gypsy with my mom and aunts and we couldnât get enough. Plus, the show started with an organ performance, followed by a lecture/interview about the film. Trust me, itâs worth the drive!

A gorgeous monthly newspaper delivered via snail mail. It is reasonably priced and adorned with well-written, indulgent, intelligent articles about art, history, astrology, philosophy, etc. It is also expertly designed with lovely images to accompany all of the articles. It is a beautiful way to unplug, and a beautiful thing to hold in your hands!
