Priest Daddy (Patricia Lockwood)
Nonfiction works best for me for audiobooks and this memoir is an absolute banger. Read by the author, it will certainly make you laugh, but it’s more than just a ha-ha book. Highest of high recommends.

The main character here is the personification of a train wreck you can’t look away from. This book is not some hidden gem in that it’s never been hidden - it was fully the New York Magazine anointed book of the summer three or so summers ago - but I haven’t had a book of the summer this good since. It’s been on my mind again lately.

1) congrats! and 2) there’s nothing wrong with a gift card to a local place or doordash. (I have feelings about door dash but I’ll sacrifice them at the altar of helping frazzled parents of a newborn.) Really just thinking of this is thoughtful and anything you do will be appreciated. Which leads me to 3) cook them something you cook really well! Friends totally flexed and showed off what they could do when we had a meal train. No wrong answers here!
