Heretic Nosferatu
She launched my obsession with lilac scents and collecting perfume in general. I started trying more fragrances because this one is a short-lived whisper. Unfortunately nothing matches the sad-girl-standing-in-the-rain vibes so I’ll just keep running through bottles. It is a delight to get a gothic/vampiric fragrance that’s not all candle wax and blood and leather. I would be delighted if they try their hand at a perfume for Werwulf
Singe Studios: Charm
I don’t blind buy generally but I made an exception for this because they’re from the mountains and I’m so glad I did. Singe Studios, like so many businesses in Western NC, got hit hard by Hurricane Helene. They only just reopened their online store. While not explicitly containing a kitten fur accord, this perfume has that exact fluffy, musky element. Violet and steamy rice notes keep it interesting. I wasn’t reckless enough to buy a full bottle but when I get through the travel size it’s a definite repurchase.

do you never want quiet in your home ever? is the plastic in your house going uneaten? would you like to clean a litter box every day lest her grace decide pooping on the floor is better than soiling her delicate paws? would you like to be awakened at 4 am because she’s purring so loudly at the end of the bed? do you want a pet who has the devotion of a big dog but the temperament of an unsocialized parrot? get yourself a snowshoe cat. i didn’t even know these things existed until we went to the shelter and she was the only kitten left to adopt. i thought shelter cats were either shorthair or longhair, no breed. she screamed all the way home. she’s the worst. i love her so much.
