Kanbayashi Shunsho Biwa no Shiro Ceremonial Matcha

I’ve bought this matcha twice now! Slightly milder, nutty matcha with only a mild sweetness. My only note is that it forms a thinner paste when whisking into a micro-foam, which in turn produces a less creamy latte. Ocha & Co. Kyoto Uji Matcha - Ceremonial Grade

Yet another matcha staple for me. This brand is extremely similar to a matcha I bought in Gion, Kyoto- although the tasting notes are a little more astringent. The powder whisks beautifully into a thick and creamy microfoam, with motes of dark chocolate and hazelnut. Super handy if you have Amazon Prime and are in need of a quick restock!
