Leuchtturm Notebooks

I was a Moleskine user for years. But have recently upgraded to Leuchtturm. I use them for everything. I currently have 7 in rotation. Their paper quality works really well with fountain pens (no smearing!) and I love the page numbers, the table of contents options and the title space at the top of each page.

October 19, 2026

Mondays and Tuesday are my weekends, my days off from my 9-5. So naturally, I work on my own projects on these days. Today started with a drive to my local coffee shop. It’s been getting cold at night now, it froze for the first time here two nights ago, and now the air smells like the cold of Autumn. I wanted to sit outside with my morning coffee and reading, so I drove to the shop that has a few tables on the sidewalk, under the trees, dappling sun. One cappuccino later, an apple, and a journaling session, I open my computer to start work but it’s died. I planned on working inside, with the outlets, locals, and college students, but it’s a tiny little coffee shop and filled to the brim. So I pack up and drive off to coffee shop #2. It’s getting warm, the sun chasing off the night’s chill. Bad Bunny is on the shop’s radio. There are plenty of open seats. I enjoy working on my days off. It doesn’t feel like work when they’re my personal projects. After this I’ll head home and get some sewing done. I received my first commission today, the customer dropped off their vintage materials, and I’ll begin planning out the dimensions today. I reserve Tuesday as my life day: Chores, appointments, errands. They all can take place on one day. Today is for my creativity.

Karaoke Bar by Angus & Julia Stone

I’m a huge end-to-end album listener, and this has been one of my recent saves.

This Is How You Smile by Helado Negro

This whole album is a vibe. Great music to cook to and feel good dinner soundtrack
