Richard Ayoade’s Travel Man
Travel Man, hosted by Richard Ayoade, rewired my brain and how I view the world. Contained to 48 hours in some of the more famous and less famous parts of the world with various guests, Ayoade taught me how to make the most of each moment when you step away from home. I watched every episode of this show during COVID and by the time things had cooled down I had 4 trips booked and every second of the trips planned. It was a reminder that we are meant to travel, meant to move and not waste away idling and waiting. I need that reminder still.
Eavesdropping & Dining Solo
Every now and then you must take a couple hours out of your day to sit alone at a lovely restaurant and let the conversations of others wash over your ears while you eat your steak frites. No greater exercise to become an active listener.
