I find the combo of wood with notches helps keep my stitches on hold during the cabling process. They are also short enough not to get too in the way, but long enough that nothing falls off the cable needle!

Perfect project bags. A zip is essential for me, since I keep barber cord, needles, stitch markers etc with my project. The patterns help me tell my projects apart, and they come with three sizes in a pack. I've found the largest size to hold almost an entire sweater.
