My Rec League Starter Pack

brooklyn botanic garden

there’s always something in bloom. there’s a babbling brook. there are majestic willow trees! I want to be a fairy that lives here.

fridge clean out meals

Every Sunday, I make a meal using whatever is left in my fridge from the week. Wilted spinach gets blended down into green pasta sauce and wrinkly tomatoes get made into shakshuka and old frozen bananas get blended into nice cream and it’s a fun zero waste feast

adding mint to salads

There’s this one salad I’ve made a lot recently and every time I make it for friends someone comments that we should be adding more mint to our salad. I agree, steal my salad recipe: -butterhead lettuce -mint -feta (from the block, not pre-crumbled) -pickled beets -pistachio -olive oil and lemon juice You’re welcome!

Hôtel Les Deux Gares! designed by one of my favorite artists, Luke Edward Hall

It’s affordable, well located, and whimsical. What’s not to love?
