teenagers
They get a bad rap.. but I think they are pretty cool. Who else but my teenager can tell me she doesn't want to get in the pool to join our 'diddy party' (just me and my husband looking extremely middle aged, floating around), or how about my son who only watches Japanese movies from the 50's? They are surprising, glorious, and don't take any shit. Best BS detectors ever.
Scandanavian Crime Dramas
The Killing, both the original and also the American, are the best TV I have ever seen, hands down. Detective Hole has my favorite Scandinavian crossover actor, Joel Kinnaman. He is incredible in the American version of The Killing and also Detective Hole. Also love, The Chestnut Man, Seasons 1 and 2 (although I am extremely mad at Season 2 writers, no spoilers here. The Are Murders, The Glass Room and Those Who Kill also worth a watch. Always looking for more recommendations!
The Haunting of Hill House
This is absolutely one of my top three favorite books. You don't need to be a horror fan to enjoy the writing and the psychological complexity of the protagonist's journey. The audiobook is also wonderful!
This insect repellent is the best, most great smelling, long lasting one out there! Made of natural ingredients by an Australia company (they know a thing or two about mosquitos) this is the only repellent I can bring myself to put on. No
It is natural and is saving me in backyard in LA all summer long!
