Dripless Oil Can
Pretty, hefty, makes my Kirkland brand olive oil shine. A birthday gift from my husband and he hit it out of the park! Be sure it is actually dry post washing/pre filling, ask me how I know. It does catch fingerprints but let's call it patina. Also, the packaging is SO pretty.
Fresh dill
Recent developments led me to discover that it lasts a REAL long time in the fridge (or that I got a good bunch). It's worth drowning in dill to have fresh bits of green in and on things.
Pig (the 2021 film)
92 minutes of Nicholas Cage. A heist film, an homage to food and love and grief. I can almost guarantee you haven't seen it. I first watched it on an airplane. It's my most frequent film recommendation.
Turkey and the Wolf sandwiches galore
The day after seeing the Eras Tour, we waited in a very sunny and hot line for 80 minutes to eat lunch here. It exceeded my ~wildest dreams~ especially the famed bologna sandwich and burger. Mason Hereford, the founder, is from Charlottesville (because duh that name) and I couldn't stop telling people that I was from there too.
